Our Clifton café provides our customers a unique café experience in our grade II premises in historic Clifton village, a few minutes walk from the Bristol Suspension Bridge. As well as serving renowned drinks, cakes and chocolates we serve our own handmade deli savoury foods; range of panini, tartlets, healthy salads and much more, including COOKED BREAKFASTs.

Our Drinks
We only serve fresh coffee that is organic, fair trade and rain forest alliance certified that we use in our authentic traditional coffee machines to make quality traditional coffees. Our traditional tea’s are fair trade and we stock a wide range of tea’s including organic and detox tea’s.
We think no-one does chocolate drinks like we do. We take enormous pride in the great taste of our speciality hot and cold chocolate drinks that originates from our chocolate history of making and selling quality cocoa chocolate products over the years from back when we were commonly known as bar chocolat in Clifton Village.
All our speciality chocolate drinks are made by melting high quality cocoa chocolate with fresh milk. No added sugars, powders or other nasties in our chocolate drinks to give flavour – our drinks are as pure and simple in their ingredients as it gets giving you a pure natural chocolate drink. We use 72% cocoa chocolate in our dark chocolate drinks and the lighter the chocolate the less the cocoa content and the sweeter the taste.
As well as a selection of cold drinks and juices we also serve a range of premium wines and champagnes, perfect to accompany a selection of truffles or enjoy over lunch. We also sell wine and champagne chocolate gift sets.
Our Foods all day snacks, breakfast and lunch
From 8.30am we serve a range of foods from bacon baguettes and tea cakes to soups, baguettes and paninis served with a salad garnish. We also carry an extensive range of cakes (gluten and diary free options), including Great Teste Award wining cakes and our own speciality cakes like White Chocolate Cheesecake made with … you guessed it … melted real white chocolate!
Our Chocolates
We sell a unique retail range of couverture chocolates; fresh truffles from our chocolate counter and unique packed chocolates, including edible chocolate boxed and hand painted chocolate fish where you can browse and purchase as little or as much as you like.
